As an aside – Photographic memories.  Seems toward the end of med school, during an after test party, I found my self amongst 3 or 4 of the ‘photo memory’ crew – unknown to me prior – when one of them told me they wished they had my memory?  WTF, here’s one of the traits I have always ‘wanted’ – ‘admired’ and he’s telling me that he wished he had my memory?  Seems yes, they can take it all in verbatim.  But, it’s transient, one pile of crap, covers the next pile of crap without any indexing and it overwrites the old stuff.  So anyway, after that, I no longer found a photographic memory of much use – not that I ever had one.   Although, I’m sure there are probably a few sevants that can do it all.  Memory is a Muscle – the more you use it, the stronger and more ‘defined’ it becomes – Especially true in children just entering school age (math) and is when I started to develop mine.
